Today I added the most important mechanic: Throwing the ball. Each puzzle will require both the human and the dog to complete, and the only way the player will be able to control where the dog goes is where the ball is thrown.
To add a bit of a challenge, the player only has one ball at a time. Every shot will have to be accurate, at the risk of needing to reset the puzzle progress. I’ll include a ball basket in each level in case the ball is lost/unreachable. At the moment the box is game ready, but the balls inside would be too high poly to feature on a mobile game.
I’m hoping to make the balls convincing enough in the form of a normal map.
